It is Wednesday -- time for our lucky Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

===============================

MORE SCHOOL JOKES

Teacher:  Barney, you aren't paying attention.  Are you having trouble hearing?

Barney:  No, teacher; I'm having trouble listening.

"Teacher, I don't think that I deserve a zero on this test."

"Neither do I, but it's the lowest grade I can give you."

Teacher:  At your age, I could name all the Presidents, and in the right order.

Student:  Well, sure -- but at that time, there were probably only 5 of them.

Principal:  This is the 5th time this week that you've been in my office.  What do you have to say for yourself?

Student:  I'm glad it's Friday!

Teacher:  Did you take a bath today?

Student:  Why?  Is one missing?!

School Nurse:  Can I take your pulse?

Student:  Why?  Haven't you got one of your own?

School Nurse:  It's well-known that exercise kills germs.

Student:  Yes, but how do you get the germs to exercise?

:P

My friend mistakenly picked c31 for work authorization category. How can he correct it to c09 because he also filed i485

I think that he should file a new form I-765  and choose C09 category along with form I-131.

If not, he will wait till vawa is approved before he can be able to work.

Many people have done that on this thread and got approved C09 category before vawa adjudication.

My 360 was approved early June. Just received rfe for birth certificate form nbc. My medical expired but didn’t get rfe for that. I guess local office will ask for medicals through rfe or interview once nbc sends it there.

I got approved in July so I should hear something soon, in the Uscis website itself it says that nbc sends rfe as well. But I don't see how nbc will transfer again the file to local office to send rfe. Mine was in local office and they transferred to nbc now so hoping they send me rfe for Medical's.

Uscis is such a mystery.

My attorney informed me that she received the AOS interview schedule, it’ll happens on September.

However, I moved out of state, so she gave me 2 options:

- Fly to the state the interview was set up, but there is a risk that USCIS will deny to interview because I changed my address to other state.

- She will reschedule and move the interview to my current state.

What should I decide?

My timeline:

- 01/2020: Submitted whole packages

- 03/2020: RFE

- 03/2022: i360 approved

- 08/2022: interview scheduled.

Hello all, I am extremely grateful for all the ideas and support for my missing RFE situation. My ducking lawyer finally found the RFE today. It was delivered to her old firm, she changed her firm a year ago and never updated the address with USCIS. RFE is for medicals only, it was issued in ducking May 2022, three ducking months ago. Anyway I got medical exam done yesterday and will send the sealed packet when doc gives it to me on Friday or Monday. This group is worth its weight in platinum. I bow down to everyone who contributes and keeps this place alive and thriving.

Congratulations. I am very happy for you. Glad your attorney retrieve it.

Yeah uscis works in way that they alone understand how they operate.

But, for all what I have noticed through this thread, New York  always takes too much time to adjudicate forms I-485.

So, keep in mind to exercise a lot of patience, specifically when it comes to new york field office 🙏

Whaooohhhh that's great.

Your field office should had updated your online case status since day one.

You should have started making inquiries to get the RFE if it was done properly.

Thank God that you got to be aware of through your congressperson.

Your interview has been waived.

It shall be well.

Congratulations in advance 😉😀🙏🙏
