Alright...

Time for a final battle is here. Received an invitation for an interview. But in a wrong city. What to do? Just go to the interview with all the paperwork and ask officer to send the paperwork and reschedule interview in Miami?

Question regarding C31.

They sent it but USPS couldn't deliver it. How to request it? Send the I360 approval notice copy and letter with an explanation with my current correct address, signature, copy of ID?

Anything else?

Thanks family!

The post by P4go and its replies have been merged with the master VAWA thread, where much support is available.

Hi there, I had an account called "Mkenyan" but due to some reason I deactivated it.

Unfortunately I still see my old post from public search.

Please, how do I delete all of my old posts, especially on VAWA??

Thank you in advance.

"Yes, Dear," he responded compliantly.

It is Sunday, and therefore time for our Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

=========================================================

THE BLONDE DETECTIVE

The local sheriff was looking for a deputy, so Muffy, the new blonde recruit, asked for the job.

"OK," the sheriff drawled.  "Muffy, what is 1 and 1?"

"11," she replied.

The sheriff thought to himself, "That's not what I meant, but she's right."

"What two days of the week start with the letter 'T'?"

"Today and tomorrow," Muffy said.

He was again surprised that Muffy had supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself, and thought that perhaps she had a creative mind.

"Now, Muffy, listen carefully:  who killed Abraham Lincoln?"

Muffy looked a little surprised herself, then thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, "I don't know."

"Well, why don't you go home and work on that one for a while?"

So Muffy wandered over to the corner bar where her girlfriends were waiting to hear the results of the interview.  "Hey, Muffy!  How was it?" they asked.

"It went great!  First day on the job, and I'm already working on a murder case!"

Go to your interview well prepared.

Sometimes it's not a mistake, just that uscis decided to do so to fasten your process.

Allow the immigration officer to do what it's best for you, for they might also approve if your file has been sent to them. They should be the ones to decide whether the file should redirected, not you.

For your C31 card recovery, do as you said and mailed every to Vermont and it will be okay.

Do not stress a lot for that because I guess you still have your Co9 card.

I did. They just replied that uscis never provided them with any info... I'm still calling them though...

I think that they didn't follow the proper procedures for Vermont to release any of your informations to them.

For Vermont will always verify the signature on the release form your congressperson asked you to sign ,your ID copy + your I-360. If there is any discrepancy between them, no release of any information for the process is very confidential.

It's very difficult and almost rare for Vermont to ignore a congressional request if all the requirements are followed.

Just be patient and wait for your letter to come and kindly keep us updated.

It can be anything missing or requiring in your file for them to make a decision.

It's better than a denial.

Hope that what they are requesting should be easy to correct.
