Hi,

A petition I filed for my mom got approved, I think. The status was updated to approved on USCIS website. But I am still waiting for the confirmation in the mail.

The issue is that my mom is physically in Ukraine, which now doesn’t have a consular office. What should my next step be? I guess it will take time to file NVC forms and pay the fees. But what about the interview and police record/medical appointment ? Our country is bombed so there is no way my mom can do it safely. I hope and pray for peace. I plan to call USCIS since this is a special circumstance but I thought that someone here might have had a similar experience?

thanks in advance
