Visa approved but no passport received yet. (merged)

I had an interview for a tourist visa and it was approved, they told me that between 5 to 10 days the passport would be sent to my house, 7 days have passed and I have not received anything
I have checked my status and it says "administrative processing"
I'm a little confused because the interview was perfect and they told me that I was approved and everything seemed perfect, has anyone had a similar experience? The last update of my status is the same day as the interview, so I suppose they will be late at the embassy when sending passports? Thanks!

Which Consulate?

They told you 5 to 10 business days. 10 days haven't passed.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You won't receive tracking until administrative processing is complete and the message in CEAC says Issued.  Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow.  It's why the beneficiary is told NOT to sell any possessions, give up their dwelling or make travel plans until the visa is in hand.  Don't stress.  It will happen in due course.

OP is not a beneficiary.  OP has applied for a tourist visa, and hopefully knows not to do any of that anyway.

Makes sense.  Also helps when people fill out their timelines!

it is still in the administrative process and my last update of my case is still on the same day as the interview, I already got nervous, in the interview they told me that the visa was approved, they did not tell me anything bad or worrying
