military branches are many and so are ranks- both of them don't do a lot of field work and it's not war related. even in USA for eg.  a colonel in police doesn't get deployed anywhere and has no war experience-just a clarification to my first post-all terms are different and I am not sure how to use the term correctly. However, in terms in war, they will be drafted for sure.

Boiler, I really don't see where you are trying to get with this, but like someone else said,  I did get all my answers already. My other comments are answers to the other's questions/comments/ side conversation. Unfortunately I don't have time for more.  Thanks everyone for all your help and good luck to all of you. I found everyone's post very helpful and I appreciate all the insight and the links provided for me to explore just in case:)

I would expect that much like in the Ukraine, they would not draft both parents and leave a minor child or children to fend for themselves.

Many Soldiers say the most difficult situation a dual military couple faces is when they have children and both parents deploy at the same time. Most often, dually-deployed parents choose to have close relatives take care of their children while they are away. Sgt. Frank Lopez and Spc. This is google search.

Currently, in Ukraine they have cases of minors crossing the border by themselves with no parents. The parents trusted some adults on the bus to watch for them until they got to a safer place.... real cases, Romanian families we know are currently taking care of them. majority of Ukrainians are not staying in Romania, they go to other  western countries where they have families and friends who can help them...
