Pased interview but the decision canot be made! Los Angeles

Just a clarification,  I ask the officer if they do same day oath ceremony and he says this office doesn't do it .

oh great information. I saw some people with the flag in hand on that day...maybe they came for the Oath. Anw, we are happy that we already had the Oath notice in hand. thanks for sharing

Hi guys,

I went for my combo interview today at Charlotte office,the officer quiet told me I might not get approved today due to the my I751,

The interview was tensed,asking questions my previous marriage, how i met my wife,how i proposed,and i even told him my kids are now living with the usa,gave a copy of their green card,update tax.

I passed the N400 test easily,signed all need to be signed,but end up given me a paper that he couldn't approved the N400 until the I751 is approved which might takes some days,

I have been so sad since morning,I was looking forward to getting done with all this uscis brain draining waiting game.

I put all my faith in God to hear good news soon.

On your info notice, were you asked to bring lease contract, tax, insurance and all others you gave her? I was advised here on VJ to bring and give them only what they ask for and not to volunteer more paperworks not specifically asked for. Maybe officer did not give you same day oath because she saw you had a lot of paperworks?

I had same experience like you. My interview was on 14th april. I applied for citizenship at three year rule and officer said, he can not make decision because i have pending i751. still.waiting and sad here

Updates pops on my profile.

 

1. I751 card is being produced

2. N400 approved..and in line for an oath ceremony 

 

Then later another message pops up

 

1. I751 is reopened for consideration 

2. N400 oath ceremony is canceled..appointment will be rescheduled 

 

Please do anyone understand this...

Am confused
