Pased interview but the decision canot be made! Los Angeles

Hi dears,

I passed the test easily on 03/02/2022 at LOs Angeles Field office (3-year rule thru mariage).

The officer told me that she just only need to review my uploaded documents online (i already gave her all copied of documents at the interview) then she can give me the decision in 30 days.

Does anyone has the same experience? How long does it take for the approval?

Please share experiences ! I appreciate that. TIA

Sounds like she was unprepared 

 

it’s normal to not get a decision at an interview. 
 

LA is known for quickly scheduling oath ceremonies.

yeah. After I signed all the form she said she now need time to see all documents I upload online then she can give me the decision. After that, she asked me if I have all the copied documents with me today..then I said yes and gave her a bunch of documents( tax, insurances, lease contract....). She said okeyy now you can leave and wait in 30 days.

 a little bit sad for not having the same day oath.

Hi Dattran, I hope you get a decision soon. I saw that you wrote u were a little bit sad for not having the same day oath. Does Los Angeles field office offer same day oath ceremony? Because I was told by other people that they don't.

LA Field office did offer the same day oath. I saw a lot of people had the oath on my interview date. That's why im sad

Okay, great. Because I have my interview next Friday, and I was hoping that they offer same day oath ceremony.

Awww , great! I hope to see there. Mine is at 9.35am

 

Just a clarification,  I ask the officer if they do same day oath ceremony and he says this office doesn't do it .
