While on probation, for one year, my wife is a citizen, can I file an I-485 for adjustment of status?
Ask a friend who understands to help?

Friend??  Who is on probation?

I'm on probation.

You can file.  Whether your crime will prevent you from being successful depends on the crime.

So I just have to wait for the probation period to end ?

No.  I said nothing like that.  I said you can file...AND....I said whether you will be successful depends on the crime.  You are "guilty" of the crime forever.  Probation just means you are not currently in jail for the crime.  What was the crime?  You don't have to disclose that information here but for US to be of further assistance, you would NEED to.

Thanks for your detailed answer, as my title says, I have a misdemeanor: wet reckless and still on probation.

I don't understand the term "wet reckless".  If you mean reckless driving as a plea against Drunk Driving, that clears it up. But perhaps others can tell you whether such a charge will prevent you from adjusting status.

Frankly, if I were in your shoes, I would ask the attorney who handled your DUI case to refer you to a competent Immigration Attorney before filing the I-485.

“Wet reckless” is simply a nickname for a charge of reckless driving, Vehicle Code 23103, that: Results from a Tahl waiver and plea bargain to charges of driving under the influence, and. Includes a note on the defendant's criminal record that the offense involved alcohol and/or drug use.

Your explanation is correct, I would like to know is it possible to apply for adjustment of I-485 While on probation?

It is. Nothing prevents you from "filing".  The real question is whether you will be successful.  I think you will, but I edited my answer to suggest you have your DUI attorney refer you to a competent Immigration Attorney before filing.  May or may not be necessary to have more than an initial consultation, depending on the answer.
