Hi! Does anyone know if you’re able to enter a different state for the first time if you are an immigrant visa sponsored by a family member? My mom haven’t been in US yet, it will be her first time traveling here after her interview was approved. But me and my husband is planning to move to a different state which is in Montana, can my mom enter in Montana instead of our current place. And can we have her greencard delivered straight to Montana? Thank you I hope you can help with this. 🙏🏻☺️

She can enter wherever she wants and at POE she can update the address to where she wants the card to be sent.

You'll also have to update the sponsors address with USCIS.
