I applied for the I-130 online in March. It currently says my case is being reviewed.

is the next step proving your income?

When is the step where you show taxes and/or paycheck stub? Can anyone explain this step.

Thanks!

You go to the USCIS website and chat with Emma. Ask for a live agent and then they will be able to update you on where your case is. Not the status of the case, but the location of where it is.

I tried this again today. They told me my application is at Potomac Service Center. They also said it was under active review. Would this not also reflect on the website? The agent told me it would not. Was the agent mistaken?

Hi everyone,

I filed on 17th march. Received my NOA 1 same day and it’s been actively reviewing ever since.

That's great! You should update your timeline. Looks like you have only received the "Notice of Receipt" on your timeline. I wish I was actively reviewing but I know it's going to take a hot minute for me to make any movement.

So amazing!! 2 people from Potomac getting into actively reviewing. That's wonderful! Hope I'm not too far behind!

I’ve been in active review since 09/22/21 and my PD is 08/31/21 at California service center. You can wait months in active review before being approved

Oh I know. I'm not expecting any movement for a while. Just me being optimistic and positive. Manifestation.
