Great!!! When I contacted mine they said the same but they answered within two weeks. It makes uscis to check your case, hopefully it’ll help you to get your case checked and  approved

Wow! That's speedy! Do you have a sample of what you asked? I want to make sure it's worded properly haha

On my representative website there was a form that said Help with an agency or something similar, and it's like a form you have to fill up, with all case numbers and everything. And I told him that I wanted his help because my I130 was taking a long time to be approved and that I wanted to start a family with my husband, etc. Just told him a little bit about us and that it was frustrating having to wait x months just for the first part of the process.

I'm gonna try to find the filled form to show you, but I'm not sure if I have it, I filled everything into his website.

Thank you! I found the spot to ask on our congressman's website. Thank you very much. Here's hoping we can get them to look into this for us!

We based our request on the ever changing time frames and case transfers. We were originally set for a 6 month wait time with Nebraska. Now we’re at 12 months with Potomac and we only found that out a few weeks ago.

We don’t expect USCIS will expedite our congressional inquiry based on this but it was worth a shot.

But that was the main bones of the request. Topped up with the “it sucks being apart from each other” and in also transferring to my US office with work. They have a great position waiting for me but they’re not going to hold that forever.

We literally have almost the exact same case! It's crazy! Days apart, same end location and I also have a great position waiting for me at my US office with work! Wow! Haha

Here goes nothing :)

Hi all! We sent our email to our congressman on Friday - @Yellowcab1111 how long did it take you to get a reply?

We just got a reply today!

We’ve been told our case has been assigned to an officer and if we don’t hear anything within 60 days to contact them again.

Is Maxwell Frost your congressmen? If so then he’s hot on it!

Anna Eskamani helped us reach out to congressman Frost. Her and her team are super helpful if you ever need assistance.

You can try with your congressman, with me was the opposite, my congressman didn’t care but my representative helped me. Just filled up the online form in his website and told him about the long wait without any answer or update from uscis.

Okay so our case status had never changed from "Your Case Has been Received and Receipt has been sent" until today. But it changed in the "Case History" section. Today it finally changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed" with the date of June 23. So I went into Case History and now there are 6 lines in there with 2 different dates. What in the world is happening LOL
