Congratulations 🎊! USCIS will send the case to NVC in a couple of days. NVC upon receipt of your case will send you a welcome letter through email with login details into your CEAC account. You'll then pay the required fees, and after the fees are processed, you can then start uploading the required documents.

I just got the same message, “case was sent to the department of state”. Does this mean my petition is approved?

never mind. Saw it at the tab.

Actively reviewed 03/15, no documents requested. Then got another message stating approval same day.

It means you've already been approved and case sent to NVC. You should've gotten an approval email from USCIS by now. Haven't you?

Your approval letter should arrive in the post in the next few weeks. Id suggest logging in to your USCIS account and checking your timeline.

We got our NVC email on March 3. We were approved on the 28th. So it shouldn't be much longer. We were speedy though from what I've heard. NVC got it really quickly. Most take a week or two.

Congratulations. My PD date is March 16 at Nebraska Service Center. Which Service center did you get? I'm happy to see others are hearing back from USCIS. All the best with the rest of the process.

Wherever it is, it got approved that's all that matters. This waiting is stressful. Good luck with the rest of the process. Hope it all goes smoothly.
