I was in Nebraska as well and got transferred the same day to Potomac, I can't comprehend why this service center is a lot slower than other ones.

Same exact thing is happening with me. We just have to be patient I suppose.

We just discovered that despite our receipt saying Nebraska, our case was transferred to Potomac on our PD.

Which is cool considering Potomac is currently at 12 months and not 10.5 like we've been led to believe 🙃

Potomac is working on case filed on NOV 2021. 14 months instead of 12 months like you saw.

I’ve kinda just given up guessing at this point ahaha I’m seeing people at Potomac with PD dates in august getting approved at the moment. It is what it is.

We made a congressional enquiry a few weeks ago as our estimates have gone from 6 to 10 to 12 months over this process. So hopefully that might kick things along.

Mine went to Potomac. Likely why it didn't help me at all lol

Did you contact your representative ? Sometimes they will ask uscis.
For me it worked, a month after contacting my representative my case was approved.

Oh interesting!! I will see if this helps us at all!

So I feel dumb for not knowing this but what the heck abbreviation is Potomac? None of them make sense here to me lol:

This is what I've found that's helped me:

– EAC – Vermont Service Center;

VSC – Vermont Service Center;

– WAC – California Service Center;

CSC – California Service Center;

– LIN – Nebraska Service Center;

NSC – Nebraska Service Center;

– SRC – Texas Service Center;

TSC – Texas Service Center;

– MSC – National Benefits Center;

NBC – National Benefits Center;

– IOE – ELIS (e-Filing) or (increasingly more common) a paper filing which has been electronically processed; and

– YSC – Potomac Service Center.

No YSC listed for some reason, lucky us Potomac filers I guess.. haha

I think most of us are still waiting on this thread. But damn. Potomac sucks lol. That is all.

Our estimated wait time on USCIS is now saying 4 weeks.

Something tells me that I'm being lied to!

Haha! Yeah it says 4 weeks on ours too. I also feel like I'm being lied to. What can we do, I guess! What a horrible feeling being at the mercy of someone else, right? Oh well...just got to go along for the ride. But boy does it suck.

1) Oh wow!  What is your PD date again? I'm surprised you saw 1 week.

2) Nothing yet. I don't think we meet the criteria yet to get them involved.
