Anya

I have researched fares to both Bangkok and Phnom Penh and the cheapest flight I could find was with eva. http://www.evaair.com Go directly to their website and just keep watching because the rates change from day to day. You are on the right coast and we are on the left coast so the price wiil probably be more. Our flight is out of Seattle. We got tickets for $983 RT and it wend down $30 since. Flying to Cambodia is always more the Thailand.

George: Thanks for the info I will have the aunt read this forum next week when we get to Phnom Penh.

Hi Anya,

I believe around the time you plan to travel, it will be a lot higher than 700-800 USD, I think because a lot of westerners want to leave cold winter for warm weather...

As Sam has suggested, EVA Air and also try China Air..they are the 2 airline company I always see having one of the lowest fares around.

Good Luck...

regards,

George

Thank you!! That's what i got from the Chris guy too.. he said eva is cheap but If i wait until the end of the year normally I can find a promotion for United.. but I also thught EVA has a better food lol Thank yu very much for yur info.. i'll look around.

by the way.. Chris said that during Feb and March it wil be low season for Thaialnd though... umm... i guess coz high season would be befor Thai new year? I dont know..coz i thought it's a good time to escape the cold too

also. Thank you Mike for the PM.. i'll check her out!!

Good Monday morning to all,

Aam received her Thailand Police Report around September 15th. At that time, I had read that the police report was good for 6 months, so I thought that it would surely still be valid by the time we have our interview.

Now I read that this has changed, and that police reports are only valid for 3 months. If that is the case, there is a good chance that our police report will expire before Aam goes for her interview.

Can anyone tell me for sure the length of validity for the Thailand police reports? I'm going to Thailand in about 3 weeks, so I'll get a new one if it is required.

Peace to all,

Mark - N - AAm

that's what i hear lately.. but I dotn know for sure... hopefully ou dont have to get a new one though :D

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

Hi all,

Just wondering for those that gotten their NOA2 way way back in the past, say a year or 2 ago.....has anyone gotten emailsTODAY from USCIS saying the I-129F was approved?

Weird thing happended today, I received multiple emails from "USCIS-CSSO" and the subject of email was Case Status Information for Receipt Number: WAC0123456789 (not the actual WAC #) and the content of the email was the approval of my I-129F back in Aug 2004!!!

Must a some sort of server glitch occuring at USCIS?? :hehe:

George,

You mean there's still a chance that the USCIS might update the Online Status for my petition for my LPR wife to show that it's been approved, and send me the Approval Notice?

my fiancee just sent off her packet 3 today. She hadnt yet recieved packet 3 from the embassy, but she had everything ready and just mailed it off this morning. She had to wait a couple days becuz i sent her my iraq orders to try to get a quick interview date. The embassy has been nothing but helpful to me so far. Im looking forward to getting this mess over with. Good luck for you others around the same time frame as me, looks like from their website, there isnt too long of a wait for the interview :)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give an update and say that Chutima received her Permanent Residence Card last Friday!!! :D:dancing:

It is such a sight to behold, and all the information on it is correct! I can't believe how fast things went, even with that stupid RFE on the I-864. Well, looks like we get a 21 month vacation from the USCIS now! Still need to do a few other things like get a new SS card and State ID/Driver's License, but those aren't that important right now, since Chutima is plenty busy setting up our new home.

Hope everyone is doing well. :luv:

Take care,

Robert & Chutima

EVOLUTION`,

I'm not sure, but let me make a wild guess based on seeing the petitioner's name given on the next line.... "My Application" refers to the person who is making the application - the benficiary.
