Bill,

Why would you need to call the Embassy? If you want to confirm receipt of your case, and find out the interview date, just send an email. that's what I did, and they always answered within a day or three.

Be sure to reference your case # and the beneficiary's name in the header.

Four emails in about a weeks time is too many. Just be patient and give them time to get your case in their system.

Billy, what is your purpose of contacting the embassy? Interview date, BNK number...or just wanting to know if they received the paperwork from NVC? I don't blame you if that is the case because I wanted to expedite the whole process just like you. If you have any problems, let me know. I have a direct number to the consulate...just email me when you need it. Good luck, Will and Pan

Hi dakineman

The purpose of contacting the embassy was to get the status of the case which the consulate just received from the NVC on May 25, 2006. My fiancee wants to have her interview soon. She is very tired being too far away from me. I have told her many times about K1 process. It will take time, but she just very impatient about time. I understand about her feeling toward me, want to be together soon. But nothing I can do to experdite that. The waiting will continue......

p.s. I understand that it is too soon to hear something from the embassy.
