Hi there,

I would like to ask you guys for advise. In case my fiancee has medical problems, and needs more time for treatment, can she request for the reschedule? If so how can she do that? I will send the request to the embassey or she is the one who will do that? Thanks in advance

Another member on this thread recently had just that situation. I believe it was required to wait, get treatment, and cleared by the Dr. Once cleared everything was OK and visa was granted.

anya-D,

Did you report it to the police? And to the State division of motor vehicles, in case someone tries to register it?

A Honda Wave ought to stand out, I don't think Honda sells that model or a comparable one here in the USA.

I do hope that it can be recovered and returned to you.

Sorry to hear about that. Hope you find it soon. I remember you posted a while ago that you only brought it here temporarily, and would have to export or detroy the motobike within a year.

If the police dont find it soon, you better contact the Customs Broker that took care of the original import. You will have some monetary penalty due to Customs for violation of the temporary import bond.

yea,... we have a $1500 bond just to insured that we will export it back or destroyed it.. so... Bram have to call the custom and sort those thing out.. or we will lose those money!!!! (the motocycle itself i bough it 17000 baht.. second hand from my freind's shop) hope Bram sort those thing out.. and we report to the police so hope that helps our case too..

Honda Wave should stand out... Bram called Honda in America and they said they never heard of such thing lol - it's just a little bigger than the scooter (spelling?) coz it's 100 cc - I cant believe someone stole it!!!

I'll have to keep my eyes on anybody who's riding a motocycle.. coz i know i'l be the only WAVE here!! If i see it on the road i'm sure i'll just jump at it

hm.. Thanks Yodrak, I'll tell Bram to report to the DMV - in case somebody try to register it.. that sounds great ^^ Thanks

Be sure to get a copy of the police report. You may need to make a case with Customs that it cannot be exported because it ws stolen, and hopefully avoid any penalties.

Dennis and Tik had their interview on Monday. There was a problem and they are to return to the embassy and hopefully things will be worked out Thursday or Friday. I know very little about the details but everyone keep them in your thoughts. I'm looking forward to meeting Tik very soon. Hopefully Dennis can fill us in on the details next week.
