Thanks.

If you already have an interview date then you must have already submitted everything you need to the embassy. Just have the originals with you when you go to the interview. Good luck.

I am starting the AOS process but am not sure what name to use for my wife in the forms. Do I use her maiden name so it will match the rest of her documents like the passport and such? My marriage certificate only has her maiden name on it also. Any help appreciated. :D

It's depends... which name she would like to use from now on? use that name. I put my married name in there but all my other documents are inmy maiden name too (including Marriage cert.) So if she would like to use a marriage name - put it in the AOS application her marriage name.

I cant really help u with the visa number.. sont have it with me right now

Good luck!!

the visa number is her A number. It is on her I-94 and on her NOA 2.

As far as AOS as Anya said use whatever name your wife will be using after your marriage. If she took your name than I would use that.

Anya

Congrats on your interview date I am sure all will go well.

Thanks samsbs, but there is already a line for the A# on the I-485 part 2. Then part 3 has a space for the non-immigrant visa number. Are they the same number???

skyman2112,

They are not the same numbers.....A# can be found on the NOA #2 , look next to "beneficiary", The red numbers on the k-1 visa is the non-immigrant visa number.
