Thanx Devkpaik and Shawndoc-

Yea, I was going to wait till i get there on the 11th and see whats up.

My wife is the kind of gal that doesnt take any sh*t (at least from me:) ), I just didnt want to subject her to a bunch of morons and/or if we can even get in the building.

I'll make a post once I see whats going on first hand.

My wife and I talked about the Phuket airport blocking. WHen I asked her if she thought PAD would do something at BKK international, "wont happen. The army will go in at that point"......which I have to think so as well. I would think PAD knows this to, or they would have gone there already.....

Isn't it ironic these people call themselves an "alliance for democracy" when they've already helped overthrow one elected government and are working to overthrow their second? Thaksin wasn't clean, but at least he was elected. My girl in Isan says the PAD have been paying "protesters" to pack the bkk-bound buses.

Kinda like the PPP paying for votes in Isaan. Whether you call it TRT or PPP, it is the same corrupt people running the show. As long as they shell out cash to the voters in the North east, the "elites' in Bangkok will never get there people in power. As far as posting this here on this forum Shawndoc, why do you really care? I see people posting all kinds of craziness on this message board. It is relevant to this process. If people cant get their police reports etc. it is relevant.

Hello Everyone

Working on Packet 3 today....

How critical are the dates and phone numbers for the school info on the DS157?

She is in England and I am working on this for her and I want to be as accurate as possible.

On a side note.... You can't save some of these PDFs...so I filled them all out and left them open on the desk top to get more info when I call her later...I decided to save something to my jump drive and disconnected my printer from the USB port (only have one port)...and then windows locked up...lost everything I filled out today.... :crying:

Anyway thanks for the info

George

I don't think you need to be very accurate. I know my fiance wasn't 100% on what years she did some of her schooling since it was so long ago. We got approved no problem. We just guessed on most.

As to the .pdf's, if you have Adobe Acrobat (not reader) or one of the Acrobat alternatives, you can save the changes. Its only Reader that is limited.

Thanks for the info...that is a relief... She is going to try to get the info for me especially the years for school but we were concerned about those phone numbers for all the schools.

I have access to acrobat at work but I'm home today on holiday and thought I could get a few things done.

Thanks again!

oh great, and here:

http://www.bangkokpost.com/pad_mass_protes...ass_protest.php

1,000 riot control soldiers on standby

Army commander Gen Anupong Paojinda has put about 1,000 soldiers trained in riot control on standby to back up police if the People's Alliance for Democracy demonstration gets out of control.

Local travel falls flat with protest

As many as 90% of local tourists have scrapped their immediate travel plans as security forces clashed with protesters of the People's Alliance for Democracy Friday.
