Definitely had trouble with text messages the last few days. Wariya has sent me several that have never gotten to me and of course they get charged for them anyway. Have not tried to send her any. One time recently I got on that was weeks old. She uses Dtac after switching from 1-2-Call and I think it is worse than before.

No problems with the texting between Gam and myself. She uses AIS, I think that company is the one she said, and I use Sprint.

Just a quick question concerning "Adjustment of Status" (AOS). Under the K-1 Fiancee visa you have 90 days upon entry to get married. What is the time frame from the date of marriage to file for AOS? I have just started to research the AOS, but have yet to get too deep into it. I really just want to make sure that she brings everything that might be needed for that such as birth certificates, translations and medical goodies.

Cheers,

Alvin

On the Birth Certificate, make sure it's the real deal. Apparently the Bangkok embassy isn't very strict on what passes for a Thai birth certificate, but when you go to adjust status in the US, their standards are much higher. It's turning out in my case that getting this birth certificate is a real pain.

Some of you still having trouble getting text messages from your fiancee or gf's phone? Mine sent one tonight after I sent her one and I have never received it again. She has sent me several the last 3 days that I have never received. I wonder what gives with some of the providers there.

I had my wife try to send me a text. I didn't get it. She uses 1-2 Call (AIS). CAT is the legal operator for all international out of Thailand, so if they are having an issue, or doing an update, it will affect AIS (1-2 Call), DTAC (Happy Dprompt), Orange, Hutch etc. etc.

After I posted the above message and waiting to go to work, my phone beeped. I received two text messages my lady sent about 8am Thai time last night, 9pm my time. I have had delays like this before so maybe the system is up and working now.

Had time this afternoon to go through all my documents and make sure I have all that I will need for the interview. When it comes to emails, I have printed up nearly 3 years of email sent and received logs from Yahoo and a about 3-4 emails a year from Nov of 2005. The email logs are pretty thick. Anyone have some input on maybe I just take 3-4 pages from different parts of every year to put with the emails to show the email trail? It would certainly cut down on the weight of the stuff I have to carry over. I already have more than I ever thought I'd need just to be on the safe side.

Take the all Tom. If they give you any ####### about not being legit, you canslam them down on the desk. Just show them 20 or so though to begin with.

Besides, after getting the visa, you can always just through them away.
