I believe you can also find out the interview date by calling the State Department. I don't have the phone number handy, but can post it tonight if you like.

I've never used this, as I've yet to make it that far in the process. ::shakes fist at CSC::

I always recommend calling US State Department: (202) 663-1225 - press 1, then 0.

They can tell you the same stuff as NVC and are easier to get through to! Plus, they can also tell you if your petition has arrived at the embassy and if P3 and P4 have been sent by the embassy.

Well I know the embassy already has our papers, they received them on april 2nd. I am just trying to find out about the interview. I am not sure if this state department will know, if they only know the same things as the NVC.

If you email them for updates once a week they will eventually reply with the interview date.

Just wanted to post something here

My fiancee finished her medical exams and got her medical packet the same day. She went to the hospital at about 7am and the exam got everything done about 11am. They took some blood tests ,chest x-rays, and gave her a few vaccine shots. She paid a little over 3000 baht. I am kinda glad she got all that over with and now its just a long wait for the interview. Her interview date is June 3rd. It will be the longest wait I have ever experience. Just can't wait for everything to be over. I have been counting down and it seems to be taking for ever so I am trying to resist the count down but I catch myself doing it any ways. haha.

I didn't ask her which doctor but she said it went very well.

Did your fiance have her personal vaccination records from before, or did she not have them? I am trying to get an idea for how much the medical report is gonna cost.

We're still waiting on word from the embassy about our interview. Had a good dream last night that the embassy updated their interview schedule online and that our interview was there, but... only a dream haha...

Aaahhh... just got a response from the embassy saying that the interview has not yet been scheduled yet for my fiance!! Aah, when the heck are they gonna schedule the damn interview. It's like been 22 days since they've had our freakin paperwork, what's the holdup?

Yeah I just got the same email from them with no scheduled appointment yet. FYI to all, our medical was also 3,000 baht roughly. For those asking about the medical, We used Dr. Watcharaphong Sae-Chere. Got everything including vaccinations done for that price. And police records should be going out in the mail Monday the 28th according to what they told my Fiancee when she went to get them back on the 10th of April, also, these are free, don't let your Fiancee/Wife get ripped off by a corrupt cop. There will be a very small processing fee, but that's it. I've heard that they sometimes try to make some money off the girls cause they're marrying the "rich foreigner". I had her take the page from the checklist in Packet 3 that says it's free so this wouldn't happen to her. I think the processing fee was around 100 baht or so. So those of you waiting for those, they should be coming soon. And yes... #######! it's been almost a month and no schedule update! Wake up embassy please!!!!!

She did all of her vaccinations at the hospital, included in the 3,000 baht price. I had her bring the sheet that you can print off of the embassy website here http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/root/pdfs/medical_forms.pdf for the medical instructions, she didn't get her packet 3 in the mail for about a month, so I printed everything since I got tired of waiting for the one they sent her to show up, filled it all out for her, and sent it Fed Ex and it got to her in 3 days. Which was a good thing because they forgot her medical instructions and forms in the Packet 3 they sent to her. Let's hope now that they've had a full week to recover from Songkran that they will start scheduling some interviews asap!

Yea, tell me about packet 3 man. They "sent it out" on April 1st. Well, still haven't gotten it. Good thing we printed off all the required documents in packet 3 and sent them out the DAY that they received our approved petition from NVC (They received it on March 28th, we sent it in on March 28th).

If we hadn't done this we'd STILL be twiddling our thumbs waiting for this phantom packet 3 to show up. Good to be one step ahead I guess...

YEA and I totally agree about this BS of not scheduling any more interviews haha! What are they waiting for?

Hopefully it will pick up when people start getting to their interview dates. Seems just about everyone who posts on here is either waiting on a date, waiting on their packet 3, or has a date scheduled in June or July.

ALmost less than one month until the interview. By the time she has her visa and gets here, it will be 1 year from the time I filed and almost 10 months since we have been together.
