They should have the updated list by next week. I think they posted at every 3 weeks or so. I think this past week or so was pretty hectic for them because of Thai New Year (Songhran)...Good luck and take care.

ThaistyleUSA,

Thanks! About how long does it take for them to put it into their system? Or rather, for them to schedule the interview date? We sent our packet 3 on 3/28 and they received it on april 2nd. Do you think we'll have an interview date by next week?

THANK YA!

Once they'd received Package 3; usually 2 to 6 weeks the beneficiary will receive the Package 4 and interview date.

But dont they schedule the interview date before they send the packet 4 out? We're just trying to get an idea of when we can expect an interview. Hopefully they'll have scheduled us an interview by the time they update online haha!

Hi everyone...

Just letting you all know my fiancee and I arrived in the US on the 17th. Our POE was San Francisco. I was a bit worried about the amount of time it would take for us to clear immigration and customs but it took us only about 30 minutes total. Very easy. The immigration agent only asked if we were aware that we needed to marry within 90 days of entry.

The only thing that I didn't like about the whole trip was the flight back. We had to leave BKK early because there was a typhoon in the South China Sea we had to fly around. Pretty bumpy. Actually the turbulence was bad all the way through Tokyo until maybe an hour out of San Fran.

Fantastic Jamie76!

You know, your timing is perfect! Minnesota will be beautiful this time of year! Has your fiancee ever been there before? If not, then I'm sure she'll enjoy the mild weather! My wife arrived in April of last year, and the first couple questions she asked me about the USA were, "why are all the trees dead, was there a fire?" Being from Thailand, she'd never witnessed the fall time and the spring time when the leaves come back to the trees. The next thing she asked me was why the sky was so close to the ground (because its cloudy around Detroit all the time, not sunny and 40+C like in Thailand!)

That is the case with my wife, when she moved to Detroit with me this same time last year. Take my advice though, start to stock up on winter clothes for her NOW! She'll need them next winter. My wife, as much as she loved the first two months of snow, really suffered through the last 3 months of winter...!!! Actually, we bought most of her heavy winter sweaters from garage sales! My wife was amazed at the 'excess' of the USA...because she could buy a new sweater at a garage sale for $1......

Peace and Great to hear of your success!

Mark...We are now living in the Tucson AZ area. It's been in the upper 80s, low 90s, so not much of a difference from Thailand other than the dryer air. Trying to find an Asian market that caters more to Thais has been a challenge though. We found a small one in Tucson, but I think we are going to venture up to Phoenix to see what is there. I miss the northland, but I don't think she would like it too much. I guess we got over 9 inches of snow in northern Wisconsin last week. I don't miss that.

Hi guys,

Talk about FOOD! well, I just want to recommend this site http://www.kruaklaibaan.com/forum/index.php it is a forum for Thai people who live in other country and who love to cook Thai food but sometimes we cant find the exact same ingredient as from Thailand so we have to mix and match and adapt... I've rely on this site several times to create new menu.. I learn how to cook so many dish that I wouldnt have thought of making (dont know how to make it from scratch) it's very useful. It got different kind of foods and sweets too.

Congratz for those of you who just got the visa!! I'm in a process of removing my condition and stuck in Taxas Service Center black hole right now :crying:

We already got our packet 4 with the Interview date but it seems the embassy didn't list it in the Interview Schedule. I think they only show 2 months of data. Maybe the next update our date will be listed in the Schedule. The best way to find out your interview date without getting a packet 4 is to Email them for an update.

Its all for LOVE..

I believe you can also find out the interview date by calling the State Department. I don't have the phone number handy, but can post it tonight if you like.

oh i didnt know that, ok thanks a lot yea that number would be great

I've never used this, as I've yet to make it that far in the process. ::shakes fist at CSC::

I always recommend calling US State Department: (202) 663-1225 - press 1, then 0.

They can tell you the same stuff as NVC and are easier to get through to! Plus, they can also tell you if your petition has arrived at the embassy and if P3 and P4 have been sent by the embassy.
