Congrats on the interview date Bob! At least you have a date and know where it ends. I wonder why it's taking so long for the interviews? By normal timelines from the past I was expecting our interview to be this month. Looks now like it'll be mid to end of May. We sent our 129 in 9 days before you did and now we're about a month behind you. The difference between VSC and CSC . There are Sept. filers that still haven't seen their NOA2 yet! When my honey gets frustrated I try to point out that some folks aren't doing as well as we are and that our luck isn't all bad.

Chok dii!

Question about the police certificate. My fiancee has lived in Bangkok, Phuket, and Nong Khai, will she need to get one from each police station or will Bangkok provide a one for all type of certificate so she doesn't have to travel around for all of these? Thanks in advance... you guys have been great and I appreciate all of your help. Just got the letter from the NVC today with her case number, so now I can check when her interview will be scheduled :D

Hello

A question about signatures.

I completed the G-325A on the computer, printed it and sent it to my Fiancee for her to sign.

For the "Signature of Applicant" she printed her name using English Alphabet. (She printed not signed incursive).

It appears she printed her name on her passport also. She sent me a copy of her passport. So she did what I told her to do. "Sign like your passport".

>>Is the common for Thai people to print their signature??<<

Thanks so much

George and Joom

From what I have experienced, it's not unusual.............

Mine prints her name as signature too.

You might not be far off. When Rin and I were going thru the process last year, her packet 3 was sent back on 3/13. Based on others packet 3 to interview time, I was estimating an interview in late May. However, when I contacted the embassy after not receiving a packet 4 after two weeks, they had her scheduled for April 17th! I asked about it and was told that the priority for scheduling appts was based on how long the petition had been open. They didn't clarify if it was from I-129f filing or NVC receipt (the day the State dept gets involved) but Rin's interview was definitely "quicker" than others during that time.

Similarly, when we did the K4 for Rin's children, we sent the packet 3 info in and got interview dates 12 days later. Their petitions/BNK numbers would have been the same as Rin's so they were put in the next available slots.

04/18/2007 - POE LAX - Finally in the USA!!!

10/02/2007 - K-4 Interviews - approved

10/12/2007 - Everyone back to USA!

Dear Mr. SqdnGuns:

The IV Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok received the returned Packet 3 materials of the applicant on March 5, 2008. The interview appointment has been scheduled for the applicants on 29-MAY-2008 at 07:30 am. The Packet 4 which is an interview appointment instruction was mailed to this address on March 6, 2008.

Hey, not as soon as we wanted but it's a light at the end of the tunnel!! Being that it is 2 1/2 months from now, I may just go for the interview.
