I'm not quite sure how often they update the interview schedule. But I suggest that you email them as soon as you find out that your packet is at the embassy.

Try to email them around 10 - 11 pm pst. I think they're only open for inquiry from 1 - 3 pm (thai time)

It's funny I email them a few days ago with the 2nd inquiry as the subject line and they didn't reply to me. So I waited untile 2 p.m thai time and email them another one using 4th inquiry instead, thanx to Brandon for the helps and it really worked. Hope this help

I think it's every other week of Tuesday. As I noticed, the Embassy updated it on Oct 24, Nov 7, and Nov 21. The next time would be Dec 5.

BTW, you should email the Embassy to find out the interview appointment. I always sent an email to them in the morning (Thai time)...around 8-10am. Half an hour later, I received an answer.

Hi all,

I'm getting frustrated and worried. We returned our packet 3 forms via Thai EMS on Nov 21 and I emailed the embassy when I returned to the states, and on Monday they replied that they had not received it. Pao contacted the post office and they confirmed the forms had been delivered on the 22nd and got the name of the person that signed for them.

I again emailed the embassy telling them the confirmed delivery date and the name of the person that signed for the package. I just got a reply that it may have been received but not entered into the system yet. Is this normal? Does it normally take them a week or more to aknowledge receipt of the packet 3 forms and to schedule the interview?

Bill,

I think it can happen like that. Maybe there are tons of cases at the IV Unit now. As of my case, I returned packet 3 on Oct 19. A security guard signed and received it on Oct 20, but the IV Unit received my packet 3 on Oct 25. I believe that by the end of this week, the IV Unit will definitely have your case in the system. It just takes some time. Don't worry.

I have some questions,My case have been forward from NVC on 17th Nov , till now never received hard copy of NVC case number beside email from them to show BNKXXXXX case number

as i know after received package3 my fiance have to send back some paper to get interveiw date ,What should i do if never received Nvc case number letter,she still can get interveiw date ???

She can get the interview date, because the embassy doesn't want NVC letter (I have sent NVC as the additional document in order to show that my case was approved). however I think you should send the copy of emil from NVC as your case has been assigned already.

All mail going to all sections of the embassy first needs to go through security, and then it is sifted and sent to the appropriate sections. the thanksgiving weekend may have put you back a couple days.

All you need is the BNK number. If you scroll back a few pages, I recently posted scans of the entire packet 3 from Thailand including the checklist, in both English and Thai. That might help you. You can be getting these forms ready and send them in as soon as the Embassy gets your case. What you have to send in according to the new instructions:

1 Biographic data form - signed

2 Checklist - signed

3 Two passport style photos

4 Copy of the Photo page of your fiance's passport

I included a cover letter listing the items included, the BNK number, the USCIS receipt number, and a request to sechdule the interview ASAP.

In my opinion, you should make an appointment and choose time that you are convenient as well as the Doctor that you prefer ( I recommend Dr. Watcharapong SaeSue).... in my case I made my appointment online at..

you can call them to confirm again....

You can also do a walk-in.

the processes probably take about 3-4 hours ( I started the first process at 7 a.m. and finished around 10 a.m.)

Hey you always been helpful, thanx a lot. Already made an appointment with dr. Watcharapong sae-chere, first Doc. on the list. Spoked to a nice thai assistance in Thai for a little bit. "sawadee kap...puut pisah English, dai...mai? She was very helpful and seems like she know exactly what she was talking about. I didn't quite understand what she was refering to about the hospital number??? But at the end I finally know what she was talking about and she told me to use that number everytime my fiancee go there.
