Hi guys,

I have 1 brother (married with 2 children)

and 1 sister (divorced with 2 children).

I'm wanting to do a petition for them but I'm not sure which route is better and fastest:

1.
Do only a petition for my brother and sister that's it. And let them petition for their spouse children etc etc once they get approved

2.

Do a petition for ALL OF THEM

I prefer doing # 1 cause it will be much easier with paperwork etc.
What do you guys think?
Thank you so much!

Option 2 is the best. I did option 2.

why do you think option 1 is best?

Because opt 1 I only need to do paperwork for my siblings so it's soooooo much easier.
I mean once they get approved, they can just do a petition for their children and their spouse. right ?

I don’t think you understand how F4 works. You only petition a qualifying relative (sibling in this case). Once the immigrant visa number is available their spouse and children under 21 will be derivatives of the petition.

Yup

How old are the children? They may well have aged out by the time a F4 is current.

Just file for your brother and sister separately and list their any spouses or children in the form. Then forget about it.

15 years or more down the road, they could well be remarried, re divorced, have new children. The existing children could turn adults n be married. So don't worry anything about it.

Any existing/current spouses and children under 21(under cspa) at that time can immigrate together as a family.

You cannot do option 2. It's not even allowed.

They are all below age of 13.

So 30 ish by the time the priority date is current so not really a concern.

Always fill in the form truthfully.
