Yes!!!

I went to the social security office and got to register the same day.

My group was a special group. First group they had people assisting with voters registration. I'm not sure if it will continue. Also first group since covid to allow friends n family at the ceremony. I was disappointed because I didn't know they started allowing family and friends at the ceremony I would have loved to have my family with me. I cried twice lol. Nevertheless I'm so happy it's over.

Well mine was no family and friends allowed yet, no taking pictures or videos inside the building. And we were told that update our SSN after 10 days of our Oath because the system may not be updated yet. It was a busy day for them because they had to divide the group into 3 groups which is by 25 to take oath.

Interview done and oath ceremony pending schedule..

Y'all, I asked to go back to my birth name (maiden) name, and the lady said I was gonna drive her to drink 🙈. The system was so slow and finicky, I felt her frustration!

Name change was submitted, but the notice about the oath still has the name I applied with..

One step closer, y'all!

Congratulations! They didn't send you an email stating the change in USCIS? (asking so that I make sure I check the website regularly - I assumed that there would be an email notification if any changes to my file occurred)

No email notification at all oddly this time.

I’m so confused. The local USCIS office called me and asked me to bring my spouse to my N-400 interview in 2 weeks because she thinks my I-751 hasn’t been approved yet. But my I-751 has been approved since May this year and I have the 10 year green card.
I told her that and she said she doesnt have my I-751 case. Like that’s not fair. She can look it up.
what should I do? we have toddler that doesn’t have child care so my husband was supposed to watch her. We don’t have anyone who could watch her. This seems so dumb.

If you are applying under 3 years rule, IO may want to look at your documents/meet with your spouse to ensure it is a bona fide marriage. This is normal. You should take your spouse with you.

Hey. It's been more than 10 days since you ceremony, have you updated your SSN?

Now I'm angsty again. Your timeline says your OA was a whole 2 months AFTER your interview?

Jeez.

Yay!

I won't have to do a name change.

I just have to wait for my oath ceremony. I'm impatient, lol!
