Portland office, 10:40 appointment, arrived 15mins ahead, checked in 2nd floor, waiting for 30 mins, the officer was super nice. Provided ID, the passport and green card. Asked 6 questions and passed, read the question on the tab, the officer told me the answer and asked me to write on the tab, then series yes/no questions. The officer told me I am approved, and ask me to stand, rise my right head to read the oath. (not prepared for this, so didn’t read very smoothly, oops). Got the approval documents and flag, went downstair to wait for my certificate! Finished the process by noon!!

No. Usually that's how they do in Nj. Same day Oath

I'm in Dallas, not sure if they will automatically do the same. Please Dallas folks that had a same day oath tell us your experiences! Thanks!

It was easy, as long as you know your civics and they are nice. The officer was laughing when she saw me so nervous. The funny part was I asked if I can remove my blazer because I am all sweaty from being so nervous.

Hey guys,

And congratulations to all of you that have been having their interviews. I can only imagine how thrilled you are to have completed this journey.

I was curious if anyone knew what the realistic timeline for interviews at the Montgomery, AL field office is.

Most of the updates I have been seeing here have mostly been from NY, NJ, CA, GA, or FL. I am beginning to wonder if the state one resides in is a greater determinant on the pace of one's petition than anything else.

3/30/2022: Filed online

3/31/2022: Was notified that biometrics will be reused

Reside in Alabama

I have not heard anything else since then.

Hi! I wanted to share my interview experience. I had a pending i751 and the officer was aware of it so she was trying to adjudicate both at the same time. She asked about an investment property that I own with my friend, and also when my husband’s birthday was, and that’s about it. Didn’t ask anything else about our relationship. I passed the civic test and English test. By the end of it she said she will have to see what they want to do with my i751 and couldn’t adjudicate N400 without i751 but I should get a letter for oath ceremony in a week. I kept refreshing my online status but didn’t see updates. ☹️ When should I expect an update on my uscis account? TIA!!
