When were you DQ? I know Warsaw releases the dates and NVC assigns those interview dates to us so i'm curious how they're approaching that

I just got NOA2 last month for K1, I'm planning on imminently calling NVC to see if it's been processed. I'm very interested in how Warsaw's been doing these cases, though, because of how many different people are having to use them as an embassy. A while ago, some people were claiming the waits were like 3-4+ months from NVC arrival to interview, but the self-reported tracker on here just updated to say Warsaw has a waiting time of 21 days from embassy received. Weird.

Times are also complicated because of Russians having to transfer; it doesn't seem like those are processed quickly, not sure if all new petitions are going slower or only the ones transferring in before the SD designated Warsaw as their embassy.

I'm curious how they're going about assigning interview dates too. I think all of the cases are probably going slower, not just the transfers. My wife is Polish, and so Warsaw was our "assigned" embassy from the start, and we still haven't heard back. I'll keep you guys updated. fingers crossed for all of us!

Called Warsaw this morning. On hold for about 20 minutes. Asked a few questions about the process that were not clear to me (and not clear based on online resources).

I am currently looking at appointment dates for K-1, non-resident (physically looking at the screen with appointment availability):  OPEN 4/4/2020 9:30 am. NOTHING is currently open for May or June, then  OPEN 7/5, 7/12 -14, 7/18-19, 7/21, 7/25-27. Roughly the same for August and September as it is for July.

Sorry, I'm still a long ways off from interview... but I do have a question about scheduling. I thought, the embassy would notify us about what date our interview is to be on - but you are saying that this is something we select for ourself through some online tool. Did I understand that correctly?

Yes, you understood correctly. That was also one of the questions I asked the embassy employee - I was inquiring about the method the interviews are scheduled. I was told that " can schedule."

In case you are considering having the medical done in Warsaw, the first available appointment is April 11. I was told they are holding some appointment time for Ukrainian refugees. These slots may be opened up later but there is no guarantee. This is most likely not relevant for most of you (but I do not want my fiance to spend time in Belarus if she does not have to).

Also, if you have not registered at ustraveldocs, go ahead and do that. That was the first question I was asked. They actually have really good visibility into that at the embassy.

I also asked if I would be able to expedite if I am in Poland (I am the applicant). As expected, this does not have any value from the embassy perspective, and I would not be able to have any sort of expedited process. Well... no surprises. I will still go to Poland and attend the interview with my fiance just to make sure that step is taken care to the best of my ability.
