Hello, my husband (who is an active duty member of the military) and I are living apart. I have my PhD course in AL and he still has 6 more months until military discharge. In preparation for the AOS and I-130 filing, I wrote a personal statement  (attached below) explaining why we are living apart and how we made commitments to maintain our long-distance marriage. I also explain our plan of living together after military discharge.

Could you guy please look through and share your thoughts on it ? Many thanks !!

One page, or even one short paragraph is enough.  A USCIS adjudicator generally spends only about 20 minutes total, in reviewing a case.  As you submit evidence, keep in that in mind.  When you give them too many pages, you have no control over what they will actually see.  Keep in concise and you're more likely to have them see what's important.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
