I finally got my k1 visa issued but the problem is the visa is printed with wrong date of birth.  It has 3 Sept xxxx instead of 9 March xxxx. My DS 160 form,NOA 1 and 2 approval forms, passport, birth certificate and all paper work concerning my visa have correct date . Obviously it was a printing error on visa. To my observation  he wrote date in place of month but year is correct. My problem is that I have realised this error 2 days to my flight. The embassy takes almost 5 business days before one gets a reply to the email if I'm to inform them..Obviously I will miss the flight. What should I do? Can I travel however much I have all the proof to show it was embassys mistake? Advise me please!!

This is not a minor typo if the Date of Birth is wrong. The consulate will have to re-issue the visa.  You need to contact them asap.  This is exactly why flights should not be booked until the visa is in hand and has been checked for errors.  It is unfortunate, but consulates do make mistakes.  Good luck.  Hopefully, they can re-issue it quickly.

happens when other countries put day then month and in US we do month and day

so,  if it says 3/9/xxxx  it is correct the way USA notes it

Good point.

The date is correct. The US puts dates backwards. So if your bday is  for example, 09/03/1980, it will appear as 03/09/1980

The date isn't wrong. Americans write date with the MM-DD-YYYY format

This confusion might be the cause of the error, but the date is not printed with only numbers on the visa, to avoid any confusion.  It is written out with 3-letter month as in "20MAY2022" if it were today's date.

It is an important error that really needs to be corrected prior to travel, as it will be an issue throughout all of your immigration processes.
