Can someone clarify.

What does it mean exactly? To have your check cleared? You mean when they cash the fee? And how would it be on the back of the check if you sent it in? Now I´m the one confused.

When the check "clears", the bank of the payee withdraws the amount of the check from your account. If you have online access to your bank account, you can usually see an image of the check.

lol:-)

We have online banking which show you an image of the cheque once it has been cashed. I logged into online banking and it was there:-)

To have your check cleared it means its been cashed... and if you have a bank that has internet banking you can look online and get a digital image of your check after its been cleared and on the back of the check it has your case number, well at least mine did, then your able to make an account with USCIS and check your status! Hope this helps...

My check was cleared before I received my NOA1. Check is cleared is when they deposited the check and funds are available to them. On the back of the check where they endorse the check, will have USCIS stamp with your receipt # (WAC####,etc.).
