CEAC: where do I go to see specific updates ?

Hello. Our K1 visa file was sent to Mumbai and we are awaiting our IL.  I know about the 

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.  Our says READY.   Where can I see what is specifically going on with our file? It says case update with a date on the tracker site but doesn’t tell me what the update is.  Thank you.    Also can you have your biometric appointment done anywhere or does it need to be at the same location as the embassy interview?  Thank you

Did you fill out the DS160 yet?  you need to do that, log on to USState Docs and pay the fee .  I believe they will send out the packet 3 once fees are paid.  You can schedule interview and medical - I think biometrics gets scheduled with interview, but not positive on that part.
