Which number are you guys calling? Last time I called was last Wednesday the number for Immigrant Visa they told me its taking 8 weeks to get Case ID number. I get confused what a K1 visa is. Is it immigrant or non immigrant case.

Which one should I call?
1 (603) 334-0700 Immigrant Visa number

1 (603) 334-0888 Non immigrant visa number

I was approved on 3/14/16 and still no case ID number

I’ve been calling the 0888 number and have also heard the same 8 week info. I called last night and the rep who answered had me verify which visa I was calling about, to make sure I called the right number. Proceeded to ask for USCIS receipt number after hearing it was for a K1 visa.

1 (603) 334-0888 Non immigrant visa number

Hi! My fiancé called this number early morning at around 7am Los Angeles time. He got on hold for 45mins but eventually someone answered. When he called they didn't mention what dates they are processing atm but ours was received on April 6 and was assigned with a case number April 12.

Hi, it’s a non immigrant visa as it’s single entry but it is treat as an immigrant visa so I’d try both 🙂

Stuck in the same boat. I was approved 3/16/22.

Are there reasons why people approved after you have gotten their numbers? Or is it the same way the USCIS processed our cases... Random?

So your case was approved 3/16 it took a month for NVC to get it approximately, but they haven't issued your case number yet? Also they are only reviewing documents from January?

Yes that is correct. I read some where that it will probably take 10 days to get my case ID. And NVC usually updates once a week.

I am not sure what documents they are reviewing. If its to become a US citizen or Resident for 10 years.

And if you sent an Inquiry online those take like 50-60days.

I am confused about your question. You have to be approved first from USCIS, then they send it to the NVC you get your case ID number then you start the other processes.

The only way to get everything approved fast from USCIS to NVS is if your case was expedited.

Sorry it wasn't a well worded question. I was just saying that people from early March seem to be waiting while some people from later March the NVC has already received their case after Noa2. Kinda similar to how USCIS was processing cases.

Oh ok loll. Yes yes that is true. I also think its because of the Ukraine/Russia situation. A lot of their cases has been expedited.

I was told it takes literally 60-90 days. From NVC receiving your case, giving you a case Id and for it to reach the Embassy your fiance is in.

Time line

3/16/22 uscis approved

4/12/22 NVC received case

hopefully it will take at least 7-10 days for an ID

then wait 2-3 weeks for Haiti to receive my case.

So I am praying it doesn't take longer than 60 days.

After that MORE waiting. Depending on how backed up the Embassy that your fiance is in. Hopefully we get an interview by Early June or July.
