Hello I’m new here; I just looking for some possible answers about the K1 visa status. I send my fiancé form July 13 2021 and they received it by July 26 the same year, that’s when I got the NOA1 from them; I just want to have a clear mind of maybe when will we get our NOA2. Soon this month  is my fiancé birthday and I don’t know if I should go and spend that time with him. Thx you for your time

There is so many things to do to get an estimate of when you might get approved.
1. look at similiar timelines with your country

2. join a group that has July Filers so you can compare each others case.
Research on these forms

i am a march filer and they approved me and got my NOA2 almost 2 days shy of a year. I see a lot of cases have taken almost a year for approval

Hello all,

My petition was approved on March 14. I received the NOA2 and called NVC everyday since then but they said there is no information at NVC and it can take up to 60 days from USCIS to NVC. Is there anyone waiting that long? Should I take any action or just wait? Please advice. Thank you.

There is nothing you can do you just have to wait. I was approved on 3/16/22. NVC received it 4/12/22 and case id was 4/18/22. I kept calling them

too. They told me 8 weeks from USCIS to NVC and getting case number.

My noa2 date was march 03. Nvc just received my case yesterday. If you havent already i would get your congressman/senator involved immediately.

I have my NVC case number and invoice number but I can’t login into ceac account, do I need finish the Dl 160 file to login?

No.
so go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

Under IMMIGRANT click on check my visa application status.
then under visa application type it will say

IMMIGRANT VISA
Then put in your CASE number.

You are all set

You cant really create an account for CEAC to see your status or account is by your CASE NUMBER

Anyone have any updates after case ready for interview? Any packets sent out by the embassy? We can't schedule until we get that packet.

My case status says ready also, I emailed the Haitian Embassy and they said we have to wait to get the email or packet we can not schedule or do anything till then. And they have no time frame. Try emailing them. This week my case says “READY” hopefully next week I get the email.

Check similar time lines too. That can give you an idea.

Received our NVC case number yesterday.  Just trying to understand the next and most important steps, and what if anything can be done before the Embassy gets the application

Thanks

Thanks

I'm afraid each embassy process is different. While waiting for your case to be sent to your embassy, fill out your ds160, complete the i134, police certs and other requirements needed for the interview. Maybe you can also book your medical since they only require the case number. But as I said, it depends on your embassy. Maybe try reading on your country portal to see how the process goes after receiving the case number?

I called them again on Friday and they said NVC has just received my case from USCIS on 5/5. Have you got a case number? NVC told me to check their timeframes. They're creating cases that were received from USCIS on 04/19/22.
