NVC just replied to an email that I sent them 10 days ago. Talk about response times, huh?

Anyway, I had sent them I-864w (since I am a US citizen and my child is two years old) earlier. The email says ...

-----

A letter was mailed to the Petitioner or Attorney of Record requesting the amendment of previously submitted sponsor forms and/or required sponsorship documents that have not been submitted. The documents listed on the letter and/or the form amendments must be submitted to the NVC in order to complete the processing of this petition.

-----

I am curious as to what kind of amendment or additional documents could they be looking for? Should I have sent I-864w?

Hi - my situation is a bit different from yours except I was also going to be using the I-864 Waiver when I get to that point. I can't make any sense out of the email you got, and I also emailed them for information several weeks ago and got no response. I also called the NVC and got a person who didn't know anything about the I-864 waivers so I will be interested to know if anyone else has ever filed a waiver and what happened?

I received the postal mail from them. Looks like it was my mistake. I put my name towards the end and signed it, but looks like it should have been my infant daughter's name and me signing it. So I did that now.

Hi, scarlethawk,

I seem to got the same problem as yours with NVC. Just to clarify. Did they ask you to put your daughter's name in Part 3:

"I, _____(baby's name)______ , certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States that ..."

and your signature at the bottom?
