I am in the USA. A friend at work came to me as the 'expert' about bringing a Filipina to the US since I have already gone thru it. He met a Filipina online, but she lives and works in Poland. How would that work? Can she come here from Poland, or will she need to go back to the PI first to process?

I totally understand what you're saying and what you mean, but just a reminder that Filipinas are not objects you can bring.

Yup.   There are many old American men who seek to import young, docile Filipina wives.   VJ is crawling with ‘em.

How do you know they are and will stay docile.

Asking for a friend

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Based on what I've ready, it's easier if she uses Poland as her filing country.

If she lives and works in Poland and her physical address is in Poland when you file I-129F NVC will send her file to Poland.

Currently the I-129F is taking 8-12 months to be approved.

Not sure how long it takes to secure an interview in Poland as a resident as I know other countries interview there, too.

So, as long as your partner can legally stay in Poland for the entire process she can interview in Poland.

Tell your friend in no uncertain terms that they won't.
