Hi all,

I'm a US Citizen filling out the i-864 for my wife (i-130) who is a German citizen. Our 3 year old daughter however, is already a US Citizen.

Would I include her in the 864? Or would I fill out a 864W? Thank you

Since your daughter is a USC, she doesn’t need to be sponsored as she is not an immigrant.  However, you should include her in your household size.

would I also include her name on the form? Only option I see is including her as a sponsored family member - but since she is a US citizen she doesnt need a sponsor

Your daughter’s name needs to appear on your I-130 paperwork, but not on the I-864 as far as I remember.  The latter is for you to state (and prove) that you will take care of the intending immigrant financially so that they don’t become a public charge.  The only thing regarding your daughter that matters for that purpose is that she is a member of your household, which is why she needs to be counted under household size (under “dependent children”).  However, her name and all the other personal information are not necessary (for I-864).
