Hey all,

I'm getting ready to send off my RFIE response, and had a couple of specific questions I'd like to ask, if anybody would be kind enough to answer.

1. My Joint sponsor files his taxes jointly with his wife, but meets the income requirements on his own.

They are both employed AND self-employed, so is filing I-864 for the joint sponsor and I-864A for his wife, then submitting their jointly filed IRS tax return transcripts enough financial evidence, or will I need to include more? (Such as Schedule E's, employment letters etc).

2. If you think I-864 & I-864A is not the right course of action, what will I need to submit with just the joint sponsors I-864? As I mentioned above they file jointly, so how do I prove individual income for the joint sponsor alone? (Ignore this question if #1 is the better option..)

3. How do I report individual income for both the joint sponsor and his wife on forms I-864 and I-864A? I'm unaware if these individual numbers are present on IRS tax return transcripts, if so, great, if not, how do I fill I-864, Part 6. 20. My Current Annual Household Income & Part 6. 24.a-c. My total income in? Examples would be nice as I've never seen a tax return transcript before (I'm from the UK).

4. My Joint sponsor and his wife have filed their 2021 tax returns, however they are being amended. As the tax year ends in April, will 2020, 2019 and 2018's IRS tax return transcripts be sufficient as evidence? Or will they ultimately deny it due to missing 2021's?

If I'm missing any context that would help you advise me, let me know and I will try to reply in this thread.

NOTE: My RFIE deadline is March 20th, 2022.
