There was no questions concerning financial matters with us.  Once you get past the security check, first window is document check-in, and where you give them any documents they asked for.  2nd Window, is a quick review/correction that need to be made done, 3rd Window is the actual interview of the spouse under oath where she is asked questions about herself, and the relationship.  3rd Window was the easiest.  Make sure she knows where you are going to live in the States and when you will be entering the states, and what she plans on doing there as far as work.

Timeline

I was able to go into consulate with my wife on Tuesday and was with her through the entire thing but the interview. The officer requested I go sit down. It was quite the experience as we could tell when we would be called to the window after the lady in front of us and the officer spent a lot of time looking through papers.

Come to find out, she had placed a marker on one divorce certificate and setup a lead of questions for my wife. It was pretty evident she was fishing for responses and wanted a timeline spoken by her and to hit some topics. The main issue being a short marriage with a German a year prior who ended up leaving after 7 weeks. Of course, my wife knew about all of this and was prepared to answer any questions. The officer actually framed it like "Are you aware your husband was married two times before and you're his third wife?" ... "Even the short marriage to a German?"

Felt like if my wife didn't prepare and answer with more than short responses it would have been a refusal, to be honest. Anyways, after the questioning, she said "Tell your husband congratulations". Kind of sucks I wasn't apart of that to hear, but we were excited none the less and celebrated after.

My question is how long after the interview does the CEAC site update and did some receive their passports back? We still see no update on CEAC since Tuesday.

...there were some more questions she was asked. Will try and put them in  another response or consulate review.

So you were able to attend the interview with your wife? They wrote back in an email and said only her..so curious

In my case my husband wasn’t allowed to go in with me, he had to wait outside.

Oh congrats on the passed interview, I’ve just seen that.

But to answer your question about the CEAC site, I had my interview on June 10 (Friday) and after my interview the status changed to “Administrative Processing” and after a few hours to “Issued”.

Got an email on June 13 that my visa was shipped and got my visa on June 14! 🙂
