There should be a print button some place.  I can't remember where.  Also,  you will get an email with an attachment of the confirmation page.  Additionally, I would suggest you also go into the site and download a copy of the application itself.  If questions are going to be asked during your interview, most likely they will want to verify some of the data you submitted.

Pro Tip:  If you are submitting documents that required translation like I did, make sure you submit the ORIGINAL Pen and Ink Signed Translation Certificates.  I didn't and now we have to bring them on interview day.  Not a big thing, but it would have been nice to come in empty handed.

Thanks that helps a lot.

For Immigrant Visa Applicants PROOF OF DOCUMENT DELIVERY ADDRESS: Please remember to include a copy of your address registration confirmation page with the other documents that you send to the Consulate before your interview.

Where do I find that copy of that address registration confirmation page? I want to choose the pick up method anyways. Did you print the mail and marked that you want the visa delivered or that you’re going to pick it up or is that a separate thing to do?

First you select the second option when you go to schedule the appointment.  That is for address registration.  It is CONFUSING.   After you have done that, and they approve you for you to schedule an appointment you will do the schedule appointment thing. It took me a few tries to figure it out.

Figure out the date of intended travel date?

I haven’t. I think you can just be honest and fill in the date you want to travel or when you’re about to leave back to the States. Or if you don’t know yet maybe fill it out with “unknown”.

So, our interview is on Tuesday for my CR1 Wife at the Frankfurt Consulate.

My wife is reading from some sites the U.S. Petition Spouse is not allowed to accompany the immigrant spouse.  However according

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/FRN-Frankfurt.html

Accompanying persons

The following persons may accompany a visa applicant to their interview:

  • U.S. citizen petitioners
  • Interpreter: Applicants may bring ONE interpreter if they do not speak English or German well enough to participate in an interview.
  • Special Needs Visitors: Applicants may bring ONE person to help if they are elderly, disabled, or a minor child.

Does anyone know if there has been a policy change, perhaps due to COVID so that I may not attend?

I don’t know an answer but you can send them an email, they’re pretty fast at replying. I had issues to print the confirmation page of the delivering address since I’ve had a non-immigrant visa in the past, so it hasn’t updated my DS-260 confirmation number and they helped within the same day (a few hours). And thanks again for the help to leading me through that process!

I’m having my medical tomorrow, there was a last minute spot open even though I don’t have an interview confirmation yet since I haven’t scheduled one, but I thought I might be prepared. How did your wife’s medical go?

And best of luck for her interview tomorrow. Hopefully you can join her!

We wrote them, and they came the today with the answer of yes.  It's sad that there is a lot of mis-information out there.

Thanks for the information!
One last question, when your wife went for the medical did she get a CD with her x-rays or just a sheet of paper with her vaccinations?

Just a sheet of paper with vaccinations.  When we had our interview during document review, they asked us if we had the medical done, and we said yes.  He looked in the computer and said that they had everything, and they just needed to print it out.  Note we Had our medical on Thursday, and today is Tuesday.

Did I do something wrong.  How long does it take before we will see some dates pop up?

Hello 😊 it’s me, AGAIN. I’m so sorry!

First of all, congratulations to you and your wife and the approved visa!

Second, what you described here just happened to me as well. Do I just have to wait for them to get back in touch with me or is there anything I could do?

It says they’re working on my scheduling request asap.

Thank you so much again in advance!

Yes.  Just wait.  You will get something that says you are approved to schedule an appointment.

Hello everyone,

Do you know whether police certificates need to be translated to English? I think German is also accepted but I have police certificates from other countries as well. Thank you!

For those who have sent in packet 3 and waiting on response to  be to schedule an interview, how long did it take? was there a backlog on appointment dates or generally easy to find close dates?

We've already done medical in beginning of June so they should have our paperwork from that. Looking forward to finishing this up and filing for N-400 immediately after.

Yes.  Our appointment was at the Frankfurt Consulate.  Since she doesn't speak German, and she said she didn't speak English well, they let me go with her to interpret.

Good to know. We will say that when we go. Maybe they will let me attend with her. Would simplify things when paying the fees and answering financial questions. I hear they could have questions regarding income with Foreign Earned Income Exclusion.
