She contacted a police friend who does it, He said right now nothing is working because of the Martial law.

Well I am not sure how to proceed either,  maybe it makes sense to kind of attach a note explaining the lack of it during the NVC application to go through and then since you'd have to go to the other country for the medical and IV, maybe request it there through the embassy as well..

That's the only thing I can think of right now..

Today is only the third business day but I have not received any response as of yet. They said the response would come via email or mail, and specifically not in my USCIS online account used to file the initial petition.

I filed the same expedite request for both petitions. Wife is Texas and daughter is Potomac. Both have been actively processing since Dec 10 2021 and Sept 10 2021 respectively. The petitions were originally filed April 27 2021 so we are near the time approval will come anyway, absent any delay from the current war. I don't know if USCIS gathers any documents from Ukraine or whether only the NVC/consulate does that.

As for the rest of the comments....

Yes I know this was unlikely to be approved, but it only took me about ten minutes and it made me feel like I was doing something. My post was simply to let others know how to file a similar petition.

My wife and daughter live in Vinnytsia so I'm not concerned about the bridges between Kyiv and Poland.

Congrats on your expedite approval!!

Stay safe if any of you are still in Ukraine.

I applied for spousal visa and expedited due to the ongoing Russia Ukraine invasion. I got a response in about 7 days and they requested. Embassy in Ukraine is suspended and not working also.

Hello, I am in a similar situation where my fiancé was in Ukraine during all of this. I filed an expedite request, got a response a few days ago, and was told to provide additional evidence. I was wondering if you or anyone else on these forums has any experience or advice to give on what I should include for evidence to possibly get this expedited.

It's "Дія" in Ukrainian. I don't have the link, but I believe it's an app..

So they approved your expedite request in 7 days, correct?

I'm talking like if your spouse left Ukraine to go to Poland, it might be the only way to do it is through the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.

Ok I am currently preparing something similar to send for my request. I am curious however what you mean by a copy of her permanent address? Do you mean an official document with her permanent residence? If so did you need to translate it?

Thanks again for any help and hope your case and everyone else goes well :)

Thanks for feedback!

Does anyone have suggestions what is the better option to file expedite request, by calling or by asking Emma on USCIS website?

I can't say the better option. I personally used asked emma to start my expedition request. I can see a possibility that calling may be better, but am unsure which option is better.

Yes, official document just a proof that he/she is lives in Ukraine and no need to translate. It could also be a copy of the Ukrainian passport if you have.
