Superb! :)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi all,

Hope everyone keeps moving forward in their steps towards a K1 visa here. A couple questions for you all:

- I received my paper NOA2 in the mail today and it basically just stated a couple things I already knew about NVC receiving our USCIS packet and then sending to the consulate. Is there anything we should be doing between now and the next notification from NVC that they received our paperwork?

- My fiance is currently living in Spain during the war and I saw @Cclemonds27had their paperwork sent to the Romanian embassy instead of Frankfurt. Has anyone found out if Madrid can handle medical + interviews as well? Might be easier for us while she's there with her family. Also looping in @Mike and Liliia

I appreciate any help/responses!

Awesome, great to know! Do you have the email/contact info for the Madrid site?

It was 408 eur. The X-ray will be done at the radiologists office which is a 20 minute walk from the Medical office. Told us it will take 7 days for results but we said we had limited time frame and it was ready in 2.

Thanks a bunch!

You will most likely need your interview date to schedule it as that is what we were told.

Is anyone else having (or had) issues calling NVC?  When I try to call their # (603 334-0700) to see if they received our USCIS paperwork, it's always busy on the other end and then just hangs up automatically.

Hi! Have you tried calling the number for non-immigrant visa service (1- 603-334-0888)? Also, I've read it's better to call at 7am as the wait time is shorter, although still might be around 45 minutes - 1 hour. Our NOA2 is 2 days after yours so will start calling them too next week.

Yes, I actually ended up reaching the other phone number that you have listed here this past Wednesday. They checked for me after about 50 minutes on hold but still waiting for my NOA2 to arrive.

Hopefully they receive our cases some time this week and we can have the case numbers soon 🙏

Hey guys, so my fiancé and I are in the process of scheduling her interview but we were waiting for her to pick up medical documents she needed to schedule her medical appointment. Her grandma is still in Kyiv and went to her house to grab the documents, then dropped them off at a friend’s house who met her in Barcelona (she’s living in Spain now) to give them to her.

She opened up the package and it appears some of her medical documents needed aren’t there and she’s devastated. Has anyone else had any issues retrieving medical documents to show vaccine records amid the war? Wondering if Frankfurt embassy will provide her some leeway if she has some of her vaccine docs since I know they are waiving other things for Ukrainians right now given the situation (police records, etc.). She was planning to schedule her medical appt in Madrid since Ukrainians have options beyond Germany.

The normal vaccines are not required for a K1 or can be done at the medical appointment.

Isn’t there a list though of all the vaccines you are supposed to prove you have for the K1 ahead of your medical appt? I.e. measles, tetanus, polio, etc?  Maybe I’m just misunderstanding. She has gotten all of the ones listed and wants to avoid getting a bunch of shots at the same time that she has already had.
