Chula Vista, CA AOS interview experience

Because I've been using this website a lot thoughout the whole AOS process, I feel somewhat obliged to at least tell you about my Interview in Chula Vista yesterday.

First of all it went great! I was really wrong to worry so much. We brought our one-year-old daughter with us. The officer was a man in his 50-s. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment time and probably waited around 15 minutes before he invited us in. All of the officers inviting other couples in seemed nice and were smiling.

After we swore to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, he asked me the necesary questions (if I was ever a member of a communist party, if I ever was a prostitute, etc...). The ONLY two documents he asked for was our daughter's Birth Certificate and my Vaccination Supplement. That's all! I also gave him my husband's employer's letter since he was recently promoted and his salary went up. And also Affidavit of Support with a new salary. After that he was just going through my AoS package. He said he will hold the green card for two weeks till it's our second year anniversery. Then we chatted about food and different restaurants and good recipes for bbq (my hubby is a big fan ). Then we were good to go! Extremely nice guy!

The only advice I can give is not to worry too much, oh, also don't have your shots done a day before the interview. I had MMR and DTP a day before and let me just tell you that I wasn' t really feeling great. That's the only thing that interupted with my happiness.
