Thank you all who responded :)
And about the 6 months of pay stubs, I read it on the I-864 instructions that it was optional.  I probably oversubmitted, tbh.   I've just been reading so many horror stories, RFEs, etc., I just preferred to submit as much as I could, rather than falling short.  Maybe a mistake on my part,  @JeanneAdil. Did not think of it like that.  I just hope that my initial good intentions I didnt hurt my case by making an officer angry when he/she reads all we submitted for AOS  :S

Only the tax return of the last year is required.  Years 2 and 3 are optional.  Paystubs are not required, but recommended.

Did you complete the DS-260?  If so, then it may be a reminder message to look over everything again to see if you missed something.

I only uploaded 1 pay stub and a certificate of employment. Should I add more? If so I can add every 2 weeks that passes since I get paid biweekly and so that they can always have the most recent.

Well you did nothing wrong. It's just submitting 6 months of pay slips provides solid grounds for proving financial stability and as it's also mention in Affidavit of support form under item number 7 of individual annual income

"You may include evidence supporting your claim about your expected income for the current year if you believe that submitting this evidence will help you establish ability to maintain sufficient income.   You are not required to submit this evidence, however, unless specifically instructed to do so by a U.S. Government official.  For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer’s address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary.   You may also provide pay stubs showing your income for the previous six months.  If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income, or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income

Hi. What folder I should put the paystub and what folder for Verification of Employment? Is it at Proof of Current or Self-employment or "others" or doesn't matter? I am just confused coz of "self-employment". I don't wanna put my self-employment coz my W2 is enough. I did put child support with "others".

What baffles me is the 6 months of pay stubs

if u send the most current one showing u work for same company

and the pay stub from end of the year (which has YTD pay total stated on it, which is not needed if they want a W2

then why does immigration need 6 months ?

seems they make make more work than is necessary for the petitioner and the office worker who reviews the documents

just wondering

Me too. But I got those docs anyways

Pay stubs goes with additional documents because main documents are AOS and tax returns

Thank you for reply. Follow up: was it "accepted"? I know this is petty thing but why it bothers me for last couple of days and not able to submit it I honestly can just say, this process makes me anxious.

Thank you for reply. I intend to put them on the additional docs section. But which drop down, "Proof of Current or Self-employment", or "others" (which is the closest option" that were "accepted"? Why petty thing bothers me for moving forward this last couple days, this process makes me so anxious?

To avoid confusion you can put them under tab and put remarks in comment box

We uploaded a paystub to CEAC as "Proof of Current or Self-employment".  Our case was DQ-ed in 1 round, no RFE.

Thank you for reply.

I did put the Paystubs and Employment Verification at "Proof of Current or Self-employment" separate file though. Congratulations to DQed right away. I am nervous coz my husband took care of Civil Documents and he combined his First Divorce degree with mine...ayayay He didn't see the other option to attach petitioner doc. when I found out I separated them and uploaded separately and submitted at Optional/additional Documents.
