Hi. I just submitted my documents to NVC and I'm kind of freaking out as I got this Review Note: 😰  "NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all of the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case. Please follow your CEAC Home page and https://nvc.state.gov.".

Whats going on?  I reviewed everything very carefully, and all of my docs. are showing SUBMITTED (see attached).  I also submitted the DS-260 the other day and got the confirmation page... Really, what's happening?

Please help. Thank you.

P.S: Tried calling NVC, but it's impossible to reach them at this time. Thanks again.

How many years of tax return did you uploaded? It should be last 3 years of tax returs along with latest year w-2/1099 to avoid any potential RFE. Also you have to upload 6 months of pay slips. The tax returns and AOS will go under the tab of required documents where as the rest will go under the tab of additional documents.

Well you did nothing wrong. It's just submitting 6 months of pay slips provides solid grounds for proving financial stability and as it's also mention in Affidavit of support form under item number 7 of individual annual income

"You may include evidence supporting your claim about your expected income for the current year if you believe that submitting this evidence will help you establish ability to maintain sufficient income.   You are not required to submit this evidence, however, unless specifically instructed to do so by a U.S. Government official.  For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer’s address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary.   You may also provide pay stubs showing your income for the previous six months.  If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income, or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income

I remember I received this message too, they sent it after I uploaded the civil docs. Im not sure why. Basically it is a reminder that you need to upload everything (financial and civil docs) before they review your case. So if everything is uploaded correctly, just sit back and wait.
That’s what we did and they reviewed everything and it went well.

Good luck!

Nice info, I went searching for item #7 in case I missed something lol. Submitting 6 months back of pay stub would have been perfect, but since I was advised here to submit my latest pay stub with an employment certification, that's what I ended up doing. I hope it works 🙏 .

That could just be a generic message (like a note) saying unless everything is submitted, it wouldn't be reviewed. If everything is submitted, it will be reviewed. It doesn't mean you have not submitted.

Only one year tax return is required not 3. One can submit for all three years but it is not mandatory for other two years.

I read that 1 year is mandatory and the other 2 are optional. Im exempt because I live in US territory. I submitted that evidence too

Only the tax return of the last year is required.  Years 2 and 3 are optional.  Paystubs are not required, but recommended.

I uploaded absolutely everything that was necessary, and more. This is why I am confused.

Did you complete the DS-260?  If so, then it may be a reminder message to look over everything again to see if you missed something.

What baffles me is the 6 months of pay stubs

if u send the most current one showing u work for same company

and the pay stub from end of the year (which has YTD pay total stated on it, which is not needed if they want a W2

then why does immigration need 6 months ?

seems they make make more work than is necessary for the petitioner and the office worker who reviews the documents

just wondering
