Hello K1 visa experts,

We are in the middle of the K1 process.

My fiancee is a Philippines national working in Taiwan.

She will interview in Taiwan and AIT Taiwan (US consulate equivalent) is responsible for issuing the K1 visa.

If she receives the K1 visa from Taiwan, can she go back to the Philippines and enter directly from the Philippines to the US even though the K1 visa is issued from Taiwan?

Thanks for any responses in advanced.

She can travel from anywhere to the US.  The visa does not require her to start her trip from Taiwan.  Perfectly okay to be back to the PI and enter the US from the PI.

Thanks! Makes sense.
