So we are filing the AOS forms for NVC and we need help. Our joint sponsor is self employed business owner and his wife is his co owner and they file their taxes jointly . We will be filing i-864 and i-864a for them . They declare all their income for 2020 on schedule E.

1- when we talk of current income , what do we put since they have no w-2?

2- in the most recent tax year income , do we put the amount filed on the 1040 schedule E ( half him/half her) in the i-864 and i-864a . Or put the full amount shown on the tax return transcript on both the i-864 and i-864a (won't that make it look they make double what they make?)

3-my wife lives with me abroad but still works PART time for her parents (US income) , she gets payroll and w-2 . Does that make her employed or self employed?

Thank you

our joint sponsor files his taxes with his wife as married filing jointly (they are both self employed having their own business ) , we are doing a i-864 for him and an I-864a for his spouse . on the most recent year tax return field , do we put the same value for both of them? (the total income shown on their joint transcript) or something else? they use Schedule E to report their income.
