"Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" Notice?

Hi everyone! We submitted our i-130 petition in mid-September, and just got this notice today! Omg! It's only been five months lol. How long does it typically take to hear an answer after USCIS actively begins reviewing your case? I'd call my lawyer to ask, but my husband and I are still living overseas together and right now it's the middle of the night in NY and our attorney is probably snoozing. lol

Anywhere from 1 day to 8 months.

Same thing just happened to my case. Active review as of today - also filed in September (Potomac Processing Center, how about you?)

That’s great news. Ours is at Vermont.

I'm in Vermont, too. Been in AR since December.

Average time for AR there is 2.5- 3months. And it appears many cases go into AR around the 5 month mark.

Right now they're approving cases from May/June.

You most likely have another 2-3 months to go.

There have been some outliers though.. so you could get approved sooner.

I'm actively reviewed since October 14 2021. My PD may 14 2021. USC. VERMONT service center. So i have 4 months and 8 days actively reviewed and nothing happens

I hope you get approved soon!

Many cases are being approved at the 250 day mark for Vermont... but I remember seeing one that was AR after 5 months then approved after 5 months (10 months total).

I already loose my hopes. I have been watching people with less time in Vermont and they are approved already. I do the k3 in Vermont too June 8 2021 and is not approved too. The processing time in USCIS page is showing that they are processing k3 of may 28 2021. Im waiting for my date to become available to put an outside processing time form
