Yea the K1 cases for Nigeria that got to NVC in 2020 have all been sent to the embassy. The 2021 cases will be moving in 2022.

And the "not  available interview dates" since July 2021 ?

Dates have been available you just aren't catching it at the correct time. When the portal opens the dates aren't plenty so they go within a matter of minutes cause so many people are waiting. The portal opened 3 times since July 2021. It opened  August 10, September 28 and November 23 all during the morning.

Things will get better and you will get past this stage so please remain encouraged.🙏🏾 I know the feeling because I have been through it also. Just know that it won't be like this forever. Everything will be fine 🙂.

Hello @PatLuvO, I got DQ last week Friday and my category is IR1, any idea how long I’ll have to wait to get an interview appointment in Lagos? Thanks

They are still on December 2020 DQ for that category. You will probably be waiting about 13 months if embassy continues at this pace.

Filed: IR-5 Timeline

My Mum is also waiting to be interviewed at the US embassy in Lagos, her visa class is IR5.

Her interview was previously scheduled for Nov 2,2021 but it was cancelled because her medical report was not final.LagosIV notified us in January that her medical report has now being received, with limited validity so we should expedite action on scheduling a date.

Everytime we check it is 'No appointment available"

Does anyone know when the portal will be opened soon? Her medicals expire in April.

Thank you.
