I need advice/help. my spouse filed I130 which was approved in August 2021 but I am currently in removal proceedings which means my I485 is still pending. my lawyer filed a motion to terminate in nov/dec 2021 but the court still hasn't not responded and according to the clerk my case has been assigned to a new judge but there is no name yet. what should I do to hasten the process?

I-751 Approved:  2018-05-04

N400 Filed:  2018-01-13

There is nothing to do till you get the hearing. It has just been 2-3 months since filing the motion. Like uscis, the courts will have their own processing time. 

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

I agree with what your lawyer is advising at this point.  I realize that may be frustrating, but with a complicated case such as this, waiting seems like the best option, and I would expect the lawyer would know when or if it’s time to try and expedite things.
