May 20, 2007 Embassy called for Hasan to send in his passport!!!

May 24, 2007 Recieved Interview date of June 5th for CR1?

June 05, 2007 Interviewed and she said he was approved, kept passport and said will recieve in 4 days.

Friday 13th has been great so far. Now I'm going back to bed before I have to get up...again!

Aug. 2001 - met online playing trivia

May 2006 - engaged

06-12-06 - Met with lawyer, filed for a K-1 visa

07-17-06 - NOA1

10-31-06 - Touched

01-29-07 - Found out from USCIS that my lawyer had filed at the wrong service center and nothing has been processed.

02-08-07 - Found out that our petition had been closed back in Oct. 2006. No one was ever notified of this from USCIS

02-09-07 - Began gathering paperwork once again to start all over. Started cancelling our wedding plans

02-20-07 - Filed for a K-1 visa once again

02-27-07 - NOA1

04-21-07 - Originally planned wedding date (had to cancel) :(

05-22-07 - Touched

06-01-07 - Granted a Congressional Inquiry!

06-15-07 - NVC received our approved I-129F petition (I never received an NOA2 via email or snail mail). We are just so HAPPY to finally move on!

06-25-07 - Packet 3 received (but it was rec'd by our lawyer, she has forwarded it on to my fiance in Australia)

06-28-07 - Fiance rec'd Packet 3

06-30-07 - Finally rec'd NOA2 via snail mail. It is dated June 25, same day as Packet 3 was rec'd.

07-05-07 - Mailed back form letter DSL-1076 (Applicant's Statement of Readiness to be Interviewed).

07-05-07 - Just waiting now in hopes of an interview date before APEC

07-13-07 - Received Packet 4

07-30-07 - Interview!!!! - APPROVED!

09-01-07 - Fiance arrives in the USA!

10-06-07 - Getting Married

Happy Friday!!!! :dance:

I have some good news. We wanted to wait till we returned from vacation before Hachemi seriously started looking for a job. Yesterday, we went to the Nautic Star boat manufacturing. It's just down the road from our house. We walked in and filled out an application. They told us to wait. A few minutes later a man came and took Hachemi through the plant, and then talked to him. When he came back to the lobby he was smiling. They had hired him on the spot. I thought this was going to be hard. They sent us to a Dr's office to do the pre screening drug test and he started to work this morning. They have great benefits too. Here is a pic of one of the boats they make.

Congrats Miriem!!!!!

My family used to own a CrisCraft (I think that is the brand) houseboat and we'd go from Revere beach to Sandwich a few times each summer. Funny thing is we never actually slept on the boat, we always ended up staying in a hotel once we got there. It was tons of fun though.

I prefer sailboats to motor boats though. More quiet and peaceful and not all those fumes coming from the engine. Just don't like the whole coming about thing but other than that I love it.

Does he have experience making these boats?

wow dee's husband should be arriving any minute now!!!!!! have fun girl!!!! :energetic:

i'm going to a spin class at the gym in a little while... doing errands i've been putting off since i got back to california, and trying to prepare my house and ideas for abdou's arrival! i'm a list maker... i have lists for everything! so i'm going to finish organizing a list i've half-started of things to do/places to take abdou in ca when he comes! :D

I love looking at the water, but I can't swim one stroke. My sons can all swim like fishes, and they taught themselves. Imagine my horror this summer when they started diving! Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm spending mine working and getting the boys ready for camp next week.

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.
